Webservant - Bill Highsmith
When I was a little boy, I decided I wanted to be a Minister Of The Gospel. Well, it didn't quite work out like I wanted. A part of the problem was the fact that as I grew older, unfortunately I was then a little man. The truth be told, it is very difficult for a little man to have the respect it takes to be considered a leader.
As time went on, I trained as as Electronic's Technician. As a blessing from our Lord, I hired on with the telephone company and worked in a department where I acted as a computer programmer. I learned to write sequences of instructions that a computer can interpret and execute. This was in the UNIX programming language
It was in the year 1995 when the world was learning more and more about something called the World Wide Web.
Since I had been following and supporting the ministry of Pastor Randy Pelka, I figured it would be great to introduce Eagle's Flight Ministries to the world by way of the internet. I decided to teach myself the language of the web called HTML code. The rest is history. I have been writing the code and underwriting the cost for our appearance on 'the net' ever since.
Pastor Randy and I have collaborated, for some twenty-five years, on both religious and technical matters. The result is our webpage known around the world as the EFM page.
The scripture from Mark 16:15:
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
is being obeyed.
I thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve.
