On That Morning

NOW ON THAT RESURRECTION MORNING
WHEN I'VE CROSSED OLD JORDAN'S SHORE;
I WILL JOIN WITH THE ANGELS,
PRAISING GOD FOR EVERMORE.

WHEN I MEET CHRIST, MY DEAR REDEEMER
AND JUST LOOK UPON HIS FACE
THEN I'LL SHOUT A LOUD HOSANNA
THANKING HIM FOR SAVING GRACE.

JUST TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH MY SAVIOR,
AT HIS FEET MYSELF SIT DOWN;
HE WILL THEN BESTOW UPON ME,
MY NEW BRIGHT AND SHINING CROWN.

THEN HE WILL ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS
WHICH WERE RAISED IN THIS OLD LIFE;
EVER IN THAT LAND OF GLORY
THERE WILL BE NO SINFUL STRIFE.

THERE, FREE FROM ALL THE PAIN AND HORROR
WHOLE IN ONE WHO IS COMPLETE;
THERE WILL BE NO BLIND OR CRIPPLED
NEITHER SORROW NOR DEFEAT.

ALL THESE GOOD THINGS WILL NE'RE BE OVER
AS WE'LL NOT RUN OUT OF TIME.
SINCE THE SUN WILL BE SUSPENDED,
WE SHALL LIVE BY LIGHT DIVINE.

PRAISE THE LORD - PRAISE THE LORD
PRAISE THE LORD - PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME.
